The Cherokee offers more power, especially with the available V6. But the Compass 4-cylinder provides adequate performance for everyday driving.

  • Compass: 173 inches long, 73 inches wide, 65 inches tall with 104-inch wheelbase. Cargo room behind rear seats maxes out at 44 cu ft.
  • Cherokee: 183 inches long, 75 inches wide, 66 inches tall with 106-inch wheelbase. Cargo volume up to 55 cu ft behind rear seat.

The Cherokee has more interior space for both passengers and cargo hauling needs. The Compass is more maneuverable in tight spaces.
